Latino Community Leaders Celebrated at Fun Latin Impact Awards Presented by Catholic Health

Members of the Latin American community were honored for their achievements and impactful work Thursday at Leonardo’s Palace in the Great Neck. Among the extraordinary individuals recognized for their work at the Latin Impact Awards presented by Catholic Health were community leaders, volunteers, philanthropists, business owners and employees from all sectors.

The Latin Impact Awards presented by Catholic Healthis produced by Schneps Media. Schneps Media is the publisher of El Correo, Noticia, QNS, amnyMetro and over 80 other publications.

Recognized individuals serve to inspire and empower future generations to promote and pursue their passions with the goal of continually making a difference. This event is a way to thank these people for making a difference in the lives of others on a daily basis.

The winners started the evening with a VIP hour where powerful connections were made, followed by an ultimate networking cocktail with the winners and guests. After the VIP hour, the high-energy award ceremony began. News 12, New York, presenter Nikita Ramos hosted the evening as the winners danced down the red carpet to receive their crystal awards and celebrate their success. The room was filled with powerful energy and great joy as recipients and guests encouraged each other, danced together and loved to recognize each other’s significant achievements.

“I am so honored to be here with all of you tonight and to highlight the incredible individuals who are making so many significant impacts in our community here in the Tri-State Area,” Ramos said. “It is more important than ever at this time to recognize and shine a light on the minority leaders and pioneering individuals who are in our communities to set the stage and inspire the next generation of ceiling breakers and world changers. “

Nassau County Hispanic Affairs Executive Director Herb Flores presented the Nassau County Executive Bruce A. Blakeman citation winners. Suffolk County Legislator Manuel Esteban was also on hand to congratulate the winners.

“I think you’re all amazing people,” Antonio Gordon, one of Catholic Health’s honorees, said of his fellow honorees. “I know that this level of commitment to your work also carries over to the next generation and everyone we touch. Some of us serve large communities and do great things for many, while others do small things, one person at a time.
