YFM and US Embassy Hold Project Collaboration Meeting

Ghana’s number one urban radio station, YFM, and the US Embassy in Ghana held talks to explore partnership opportunities between the two entities.
The meeting held at the premises of Global Media Alliance (GMA) in Dzorwulu was attended by the General Manager (CEO) of GMA, Ernest Boateng, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the GMA Group, Edwin Amankwah, YFM Triangle Head Osei Kuffour, YFM Accra Programs Manager Eddy Blay.
Laneice Brooker, Cultural Attaché (manages Fulbright and many exchanges), Kevin Brosnahan, Information Attaché, Joyce Asiedu, Information Specialist, and Rukmini Essel, Emerging Voices Coordinator, represented the US Embassy at the meeting .
The two entities have in the past collaborated to work on several projects.
GMA Group CEO Ernest Boateng speaking at the meeting said, “With YFM being the leading urban radio station in the country, it is obvious that the ears and may I add eyes are on us and we are looking for always improving what we both do. on air and with other activities. This exploratory meeting with the American Embassy will allow us to see where the opportunities for collaboration are, in order to achieve our respective objectives “
Ernest Boateng also expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunities the partnership brings to both organizations.
“We are excited about the opportunities discussed and look forward to working on various projects with the US Embassy.”
